I think that one of the saddest verses in the book of Jeremiah is when God says, “‘…My people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.’” (Jeremiah 2:11) In our last program we talked about emptiness and feeling empty. That’s what’s going to take the life out of life is exchanging the glory of God, the true estimate for who He is, for that which does not profit.
